The Cube – Rave Rebels

Rave Rebels is Belgium’s biggest indoor techno event. For its first edition, the ambitious event wanted to work with the very best of the industry and make things happen that are usually unthinkable. There are very few events of this size that have the budget to think outside the box and make the impossible possible.

The scenographic design was made by a small core team: Jens Grietten, Thomas Boets, Kristof Blanquart and myself, Rene van Dijk. In addition, I was responsible for the art direction of custom video content development, created a technical system to display visuals on a 1100 square meter LED screen, and provided live video operation during the night itself. This show made use of all the various skill sets I have developed over the last 13 years of my career.
