Circular - Paradigm x Zeezout

A collaboration between open-minded dance party ZeeZout and Paradigm, a club where music, art and creativity meet.  

The main room of the venue and previous sugar factory in Groningen has high ceilings and an industrial, asymmetrical architecture. The installation was based on the idea that the DJ was performing from the center of the space—a set-up which provided the crowds a 360 degree experience of the DJ. The design placed a giant seamless circular LED structure above the DJ to break-up all the straight lines in the building’s architecture. The most remarkable feature of the installation was that the dynamic structure could be moved by motion—creating a UFO-like illusion.
