Breakfast Club provides positive parties off the beaten path, outside of regular opening hours—often kicking off at 7am. IsBurning is a lgbtqia+ event inspired by old skool queer club culture, with a passion for underground house music. A collaboration between two iconic Amsterdam events.

Creative process
I was overjoyed to be invited to collaborate on this New Year’s Day event, hosted by two events close to my heart—I used to attend both frequently. The event was just after the Christmas period, so I found inspiration in the decorations around the house. I used various macro film techniques to capture the reflections and movements of shadow on materials. The raw content was transformed into a captivating visual show—an explosion of colour.
